01/19/2010: "The boy was something that Mommy wouldn't wear"
This video would probably make my top 10 videos of all time list if I ever had one.
When I was younger, I didn't quite understand the real meaning of this video, but I knew I was watching something powerful as fuck. Notice the blackboard is full of messages that have become a bit more "accepted" in our society today than they were back when this video came out (like anxiety disorder).
I heard the video was based on a true story of a kid who killed himself in front of his classmates. Doesn't surprise me. We've seen that and much worse happen across America since then. If that's not an alarm going off to my generation and future ones to straighten our shit out and make mature decisions when having and raising a child, I don't know what is.
